Narrentag also is known as Fools Day, which is the beginning of the Carnival season. The carnival season is a very big cultural celebration as the festivities start this month and go until February!

Everyone in Germany learns exactly when the carnival season starts because its not just on November 11th but more precisely on the 11th day of the 11th month at exactly 11:11 am and 11 seconds. Making this celebration very unique. This is the perfect time of year to indulge in all the experiences Germany has to offer.

St. Martin’s Day

On the very same day, Germany also celebrates the famous St. Martin’s day, which is dedicated to St. Martin of Tours and celebrates modesty and altruism, which are important Christian values.

St. Martin’s is generally celebrated with lots of foods, fireworks, and parties, that connect with Narrentag and the carnival season. Creating one big celebration that is recognised all across Germany.

Guy Fawkes' is a well-known name in the UK for his attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605.

Every 5th of November this holiday is celebrated around the country by the lighting of bonfires, with a stuffed effigy of Guy on the top, and incredible firework displays that are incredible for the whole family.

Sababay Winery Tours & New Partnership

Last month our fantastic team from the Karma Royal Resorts of Bali took an excursion to the Sababay Winery where they spent the day training and tasting the finest wines just for you. Now we have partnered up with Sababay Wines so we can continue to offer our members only the best of the best.

Not only this but members will also be able to go to the Winery themselves, where they can book wine tasting tours and truly experience the taste of Indonesia’s state of the art winery.
